night riding

so in case i don't spend enough time during the day riding my bike, now i've found a group to ride with at night! this is waaaayyy too fun...IF you have a good headlight (might be something i need!). if you don't have a good headlight, it's a new world of thrill seeking, as you bomb down a hill without really being able to see the obstacles in your path! i did minimize the risk of this by following the line of a friend and when she bumped, i moved over (thanks Emma!). this method also works really well when moving at break neck speeds during the day. i have to say, if i hadn't been on my bike, i would never have had the opportunity to stop and admire the view over downtown b'ham. just one more example of why i love my bike and why it brings so much to my life.
